In the Mind of a Genius – Nikola Tesla, the Greatest Mind in History?

Who was Nikola Tesla? 🧠

Nikola Tesla was a scientist, physicist, engineer, and inventor, but none of these words sufficiently describe the life and genius of Nikola Tesla. He has been named by many as the greatest mind in history.

Well known for designing the alternating-current (AC) electric system, which is the predominant electrical system used across the world today. He also created the ‘Tesla coil’, which is still used in radio technology. His work also included free energy solutions and his work is helping people create different technologies to this day. Saying he was ahead of his time is an understatement.

Born in modern-day Croatia, Tesla moved to the United States in 1884 and briefly worked with Thomas Edison before the two parted ways. Disagreements over compensation and differing opinions on the use of direct current (DC) versus alternating current (AC) for electrical power transmission led to Tesla parting ways with Edison. They were far apart in background and methods.

Edison had a bias to his own DC system and so favored promoting that more and he launched a campaign against AC, claiming it was dangerous and could kill people. Tesla countered this by publicly subjecting himself to 250,000-volt shocks to demonstrate AC’s safety. A bit of a nutty professor! Tesla sold several patent rights, including those to his AC machinery, to George Westinghouse in 1888 for $1 million (which was worth a lot in more than $1 million is in modern day).

Nikola Tesla’s Free Energy (the ‘Tesla Tower’)⚡

He allegedly faced authorities hiding his work and it’s even said that on his death, authorities took his work in fear that it is harder to make money off free energy and it would leave large unsustainable energy companies in jeopardy.

When Tesla was alive, J. Pierpont Morgan withdrew his financial backing to Tesla, as he felt he couldn’t profit from Tesla’s wireless electricity concept. The ‘Tesla Tower’ (also know as the’ Wardenclyffe Tower’) was a 185-foot high structure with a 65-foot copper dome transmitter on the top that was active from 1901-1917. Tesla’s vision was to use the tower to transmit signals and free, unlimited wireless electricity all over the world. Thanks to Tesla’s early work, wireless transfer of energy is finally being realized today, from wireless chargers for smartphones, to wireless electric vehicle charging. Here is a picture of the tower:

Interestingly, the Eiffel Tower could be inspired by the ‘Tesla Tower’. Although most people believe it’s just a symbol of Parisian culture or a product of the industrial era, there is evidence to suggest that it was designed as a massive antenna, an instrument for wireless electricity experiments, and its secrets could have revolutionized the world.

In 1889, and the tower was unveiled at the Paris World’s Fair, touted as a temporary exhibit. Nikola Tesla visited Paris in the 1880s and during his stay, he met with Gustave Eiffel (famous for founding and developing a company specializing in metal structural work, whose crowning achievement was the Eiffel Tower) and shared his groundbreaking vision for a world powered by free, wireless energy.
Tesla had already demonstrated this with his ‘Wardenclyffe Tower’; that electricity could be transmitted wirelessly across vast distances.
Eiffel was supposedly fascinated by this and took these principles, incorporating them into the design of the Eiffel Tower.

This was not just about aesthetics, this was about power. During the tower’s construction, strange phenomena were reported. Electromagnetic anomalies, unexplained lights, and strange sparks were seen surrounding the tower. Locals spoke of nighttime experiments, and some even claimed to have witnessed orbs of light dancing around the structure.

Nikola Tesla’s Inventions and Technologies we Use Today 📱

There are a number of technologies that we use today thanks to Tesla:

  • Wireless energy (‘Tesla Tower’) – Wireless chargers for toothbrushes, phones, and vehicles (and the full potential of this is yet to be fulfilled).
  • Electrical circuits (‘Tesla Coils’) – Used in radios, televisions, and other electronics, and can be used for wireless transmission (a type of electrical circuit used to generate low-current, high-voltage electricity).
  • Modern technology – Remote controls, neon, and fluorescent lights, wireless transmission, computers, smartphones, laser beams, x-rays, robotics, and as mentioned, alternating current, the basis of our present-day electrical system. Tesla invented, predicted or contributed to development of hundreds of technologies that play big parts in our daily lives.

Other interesting facts include that Tesla designed the first hydroelectric power plant in Niagara Falls and the units used to measure the strength of magnetic fields were named after him ‘Teslas’.

Videos on Inventor Nikola Tesla and his Discoveries 🎥

Videos discussing his work can be viewed below. You can also get his autobiography here and his biography here.

Video 1 – Tesla, a Visionary Inventor

This video describes Tesla as a visionary inventor whose ideas ranged from groundbreaking (like AC electricity) to some speculative or unproven concepts. Many of his ambitions aimed at free energy, wireless power, and global-scale technological transformation.

The main points are:

1. Free Energy/Cosmic Rays – Tesla said he could capture energy from cosmic or radiant sources to provide unlimited, free power.

2. Wireless Electricity (Wardenclyffe Tower) – He attempted to transmit electricity wirelessly across the globe. The project failed due to lack of funding, though modern research shows limited wireless power transfer is possible.

3. Cold Fire (Electric Cleaning/Healing) – Proposed using high-voltage electricity to clean and heal the human body without water. It was abandoned due to safety and cost concerns.

4. Teslascope (Alien Communication) – Tesla claimed he detected signals from extraterrestrials.

5. Death Ray (Teleforce Weapon) – A theoretical particle-beam weapon meant to stop wars by making countries defensively invincible.

6. Weather Control – He theorized that radio waves could manipulate the ionosphere to control weather patterns.

7. X-Ray Experiments – Tesla experimented with early X-ray technology, even informally testing it with friends like Mark Twain.

8. Alternating Current (AC Power) – His most lasting contribution AC electricity won the “War of Currents” and is still the global standard today.

9. Lighting the Earth – He imagined illuminating the entire planet by exciting particles in the atmosphere, similar to the aurora.

10. Tesla Oscillator (Resonance Machine) – He said that he created a device that could cause massive vibrations, even earthquakes by matching natural frequencies.

Videos 2 to 6 – ‘Bright Insight’ on Tesla

Video 2 – Intuition, Tesla, and “Universal Consciousness”

  • Intuition is presented as more powerful than intellect. Figures like Nikola Tesla, Albert Einstein, and Steve Jobs are cited as relying on intuition and Tesla supposedly visualized inventions entirely in his mind before building them.
  • Reality is based on energy, frequency, and vibration. Humans are connected to a universal consciousness.
  • Phenomena like synchronicity (via Carl Jung) and near death experiences are presented as evidence of something beyond physical reality.
  • Trust your intuition, a way to access deeper knowledge or even the universe itself.

Video 3 – Pyramids as Ancient Energy Technology

  • The pyramids (especially the Great Pyramid of Giza) were not tombs, but advanced energy-generating machines.
  • They link to Nikola Tesla’s idea of wireless energy from Earth:
    • Underground water systems (aquifers) powered the structure
    • Pyramid shape relates to energy transmission
    • Acoustic resonance inside chambers has purpose
  • The Great Sphinx of Giza is said to be much older (10,000-30,000 years), due to water erosion.
  • A lost advanced civilization existed before known Egyptian history.
  • Repeating numbers like 432 are presented as evidence of hidden knowledge tied to:
    • Earth measurements
    • Time systems
    • Ancient cultures
  • Ancient humans may have been far more advanced, and pyramids could represent lost technology.

Video 4 – Elon Musk, Tesla vs Edison

  • Tesla is desribed as a true genius and underappreciated.
  • Edison is desribed as a marketer who took credit and acted unethically.
  • Musk is described as a modern innovator inspired more by Edison’s ability to commercialize ideas.
  • Tesla developed AC electricity (used globally today),
  • Edison promoted DC and ran campaigns against AC and is accused of unethical actions.
  • Musk’s praise of Edison is valuing execution and bringing ideas to market.
  • Innovation requires both invention (Tesla) and execution/marketing (Edison).

Video 5 – Tesla, Intuition, and Suppressed Knowledge

  • Tesla’s true power came from intuition and mental visualization. Humans can tap into universal energy or intelligence the same way.
  • Tesla may have discovered free energy. He had his work seized by the government after death.
  • Powerful groups suppress knowledge to maintain control.
  • Humans are creators connected to a divine or universal force with emotions like love, creativity that are beyond evolution.
  • You can unlock potential by trusting intuition and aligning with universal energy.

Video 6 – Tesla & Government Cover-Up Claim

  • After Nikola Tesla died in 1943, the U.S. government seized his documents.
  • This led to a long-term cover-up involving the FBI and CIA.
  • FBI took around 80 trunks of Tesla’s work after his death.
  • Documents were held for 9 years before being returned.
  • Declassified files show:
    • FBI had copies (microfilm) of his papers
    • Some documents are heavily redacted
  • John G. Trump reviewed Tesla’s work and said it wasn’t significant.
  • CIA documents suggest a secret investigation into Tesla-related materials.
  • Timing (ending in 1952) matches when his belongings were returned.
  •  The government studied and possibly hid important discoveries such as wireless free energy, the “Death ray” weapon, and advanced energy systems,
  • There a[[ears to be a government cover-up of Tesla’s work.
